SG 42 bayonet photos

Article about: This is owned by a friend of mine. He also has a replica (ie, fake one). Any idea of the value of both an original and replica SG42?

I have only handled one original example, should have photographed it in fine detail - but the opportunity did not present itself.

Here are some photos of the bayonet my father brought home from Europe.

Notice the rubber gasket on the base of the hilt.

In very good condition for itís age. Blade may have been sharpened in the field of battle.

WOW that is fantastic!!!!! So it looks like the AR10 bayonet was copied from this SG42 model.
This is a post made by member Reibert about his Sudan Bayonet.

If they could, they should have sued for patent infringement, But hey when you loose you really can't complain about your idea's being copied!!!!
