    I would like some opinions on those two daggers coming up for sale.
    The WH bears a etching on both sides, one with the WH eagle, and on the other side a text to commemorate the officer's service at general staff.
    I know etched examples are to be avoided, but still would like a confirmation on thise one; because my first impression was wrong , but then started to doubt ....

    It might be just me, but I don't like the metal of the guard on the etched Heer. It looks modern. Of course, it might just be a trick of the light in the photo,though.

    The Luft dagger looks pretty much like my 2nd pattern dagger, but hard to tell anything for sure from the pics

    No chance to get better pictures, I didn't get them!
    The Heer dagger was sold for nearly 400 euro and the dagger pouch for 120 euro.
