Unfortunately, I have to say that I'm not seeing much on this one that I am liking. The detailing of the oak leaves on the ferrule and pommel cap are very poor and the crossguard eagle's head is simply a blob. The reverse side of the crossguard eagle has crude and rough edges on it which are not good. The swirls on the crossguard are not even. Very crude work to be an acceptable very rare and costly dagger. Like I said, I would pass. Not one that I would want.

Hi Ivan..Im not to sure on these..as I would like to hear from Gerrit and Moderator Horst who has a couple of these. I will send him a PM to see if he can add his thoughts on this dagger. It has that certain look about it,,but that doesnt mean anything in this hobby. Regards Larry

    IMO a nice copy Ivan.....

This Land Custom dagger has quite a few "errors".
The scabbard fittings should be like the dagger fittings made of Alu, the gripwire is not Hörster.
The Eagle misses the typical feather enchancements.
    Just a few highlines.....

here a nice complete rig, belongs to "Damastfreak" an advanced German Collector.

Have to agree with the above which pretty well covers all the points which would indicate a post 45 dagger.
