Hi, i have recently developed a love for WW2 militaria and was looking for a japanese officer katana. I was just wondering if this is real or a copy, and if it is worth 160$.

I also found this bayonet, wich i thought was interesting as stroops who had them used to remove the saws because they knew they would get shot at sight if any allies saw them.

Is it worth 100$?

Re: WW2 officer katana, fake or real? German sawback bayonet
Hi, and welcome to the forum!
I would not spent $100 on a fake bayonet. Save your money towards an original.
I cannot advise on the Japanese sword as I don't collect these.
Cheers, Ade.

Re: WW2 officer katana, fake or real? German sawback bayonet
I have what appears to be a a WWII german officers bayonet. On one side of the blade it has Marquardt & ebert and on the other side of the blade it has E Pack & Sohne with what appears to be a figure of a worker with a hammer. Does this bayonet have any value? My father brought it home from WWII.
