These finally arrived today. Was starting to think they had gone missing. Sleeve Eagle has a bit of moth damage, but otherwise a nice example. Thanks to Martin for these great items.

Nice set, my Schutzpolizei eagle only has one wing left. Luckily I found a nice Gendarmie eagle though. Will try and add more as time & funds allow.

Yes, if not completely wrong the Gendarmie was under control of the Army. Martin can explain this better.

The Gendarmerie policed rural areas and small towns with a population of less than 2,000 (or, in certain cases 5,000). (It was not under Army control; StuG III was probably thinking of the Feldgendarmerie, i.e. the military police.)
