Gendarmerie Waffenrock for opinions/advice

Following on from my abysmal first purchase of a Gendarmerie jerkin, I have now found, what would appear to be a nicer Waffenrock.

It has a few faults and with it being dated 1940, it may be that the sleeve eagle was replaced 1941> or it may have been lying in the stockroom and had this eagle sewn on. I really don't know.

And that, gentlemen, is one of the number of reasons that I ask for your help.

I like it!
Looks like a nice Hauptwachtmeister tunic!
Almost all the police tunics had the sleeve eagles removed hence they used the tunics postwar still.

If you can get it at a good price then go for it

It's priced at $625 plus whatever god awful fees Customs add on (although... I have a cunning plan!!!)
