The oval cloth badge with the star flanked by a half-wreath of oak leaves is a Fire Brigades' duty-position sleeve badge identifying an Unterkreisführer.

The dark cloth badge with the gold cogwheel design is a career-badge for naval engineering officers [Ingenieuroffiziere].
See here for another example: MBertram
I cannot identify the red cloth badge with the "258"; but it is not German.
(Don't know about the metal tag, but a theory has been brought up about it on Please help identify? which may be an answer.)
Thank you for taking the time to help! I am obviously a novice and your help is much appreciated!
The "258" collar tab MIGHT be French or Belgian? As stated certainly not German.
Cheers, Ade.
The "258" is a french collar patch. In the post-worls-war II years diamond shape patches were adopted for use on the left sleeve. This one is for the 258. Infantry Regiment.
