New to the forum and TR collecting. Saw this guy at a local antique shop for a few bucks and couldn't resist. Is it real?

Good later pattern Polizei Adler.As Eric stated the painted swas. is not original to the issued item.
Here's an example of the earlier left facing Adler,

Something to keep an eye open for as these are super nice.

I like this Adler heaps,It's got great form and is a very well constructed two piece design.

Umm... Something Strange with the maker's mark... Please correct me if I'm wrong but is not JFS a buckle maker or did they do insignia too?
Does anyone know anything on this?
