Maybe as an addition to come up with more details: The FP number of this bataillon was 59596. It was established in 1940 in Essen, Germany, until spring 1942 operating in the Netherlands and from 1942 to 1944 in the area of Lublin, Poland. Some of the members of this bataillon became prisoner in Russion camps (maybe in camps called 7504 (1-3); detailled informations about this time are also most welcome).

You may want to ckeck these two books:
"Police Battalions of the Third Reich" by S. Campbell
"ORDNUNGSPOLIZEI - ENCYCLOPEDIA OF THE GERMAN POLICE BATTALIONS September 1939/July 1942" by M. Arrico.

In the latter book, Pol.Btl 67 has 2 pages of narrative (including footnotes).

For me, searching on this batallion, this is a privat mission for man years, as I'm looking for every hint because my grandfather was part of this organization. He was missed in summer 1944 and somebody mentioned, that he might have been seen for the last time in a camp in Russia 1948. That is, what is driving me (understanding and hopefully finding).
