    these items are way out of my league
    I would like to put it up for sale but want to make sure its original
    it was a flea market find
    what is the value ?
    I could only find railroad eagles to compare

    Looks like a pretty rough trolley/bus eagle. I kind of like it but freely admit that there's not much info on these or their makers out there... so, I give it a thumbs up with some reservation. A couple of hundred, if genuine, perhaps? These are at least substantially cheaper than the bigger and higher quality railroad eagles and this one's certainly seen some abuse...

    Details look good enough to me for it to be a pre-1945 bird. Does have character. Somebody wrote silver on the back and almost looks like 100 above that.

    I think the scrawl reads '800 Silber' - which
    of course it is not.........

    I don't really like it.

    I know that Soldiers sawed off train eagles leaving a column. This looks like it was bolted somewhere. I don't collect wall eagles, so you may want more people to ask.
