I Think I have an Original aluminum Eagle

Today, among other items, I bought 2 German Flags as well as this Eagle, I know one of the Flags is good, but the one I am unsure of, I will post in another thread.

Heres the Eagle, as you can see it looks like it was torn off a wall or something, I think it was damaged when this was done, and it was welded back together.
Please give me your thoughts.

It looks original to me, but it seems like the alu-welding, and sand blasting was done yesterday. Why didn't they go through the work of grinding those ugly welds down a bit?

No idea why it was done this way, however it was done sometime ago as this had been put away since at least the 80s, or so I was told

you have a german railway eagle. These eagles adorned trains. I have an exemplary like yours but unused. Welds, then perhaps they are made​​. When veteran war ripped the train, and this was broken.

These eagles were either in locomotives and wagons.

I think a great eagle, a little sore ... lol
