    Sad to note that the only original living cast member in that photo is Le Beau, the French chef played by Robert Clary who is a French Jew and was an inmate in the Nazi concentration camps Ottmuth and Buchenwald and still has his serial number tattooed on his arm....

    Believe it or not I actually did know that! And John Banner and Werner Klemperer were both Jews who escaped hilers regime. By memory John Banner lived two streets away from hitler at one stage before hitler went on to join the DAP etc.....
