RR EAGLE with Provenance

24" inch Railroad Eagle mounted by the Vet on a Plaque/Board - the real kicker is that the Vet also added a plaque reflecting the Place and Date of capture - there was a plaque reflecting his personal information but the family removed it when he passed and they sold it , location is still visible.-
Its really a treat to find not only a great RR Eagle but also the capture particulars a real added bonus.

Great piece. Is the eagle attached by it's original nuts ?

Kind of hard finding the nuts on an eagle.

....on the other hand, its a small wonder the eagle is looking stern if attached to the wooden board by its nuts

Fantastic eagle mate, great story and it is in terrific condition! These things look very impressive, a great backdrop to any collection, well done!
