Hello Piotr! Do you have a picture of the back of the red cross buckle. I've always considered that style as reproduction.
Super nice Reichsbahn buckle! Any markings on the buckle or the tab? It would be made by Assmann or M4/39. You can tell by the variant catch on the buckle. Looks nice!

The red cross buckle is a replica.
The Reichsbahn buckle with the tab is a very good one.

Even without seeing the reverse of Piotr's DRK buckle, it appears in my opinion to be the very rare, "flat or blind back" design variant in zinc. More than likely that there are no makers marks.

Perhaps and with all due respect you are confusing this original buckle with a horrible interpretation in painted steel, which is definitely a fake.

Hi Piotr, two nice buckle and rare, I have not seen this type of DRK for Loong time (which has been original) may we see pics of the rear for example to the rest of the forum, I am of the same opinion as David that is the Zinc type. The Assmann Reichbahn is also a super buckle by chance is the tab marked? I know alot of the time they were not but just curious

(BTW for other members if you look in the fakes thread you will find the steel fake version of the DRK buckle for comparison )

Drk buckle is made of zinc and it is original one,
There is no mark on the tab of reichbahn
When I will come back from work I will add more pictures
