Pocket liner removed. Going to a seamstress next week to have the shoulder boards made and under arms add on removed as well as back opened up.
I got the stand for the tunic almost ready :-)

I think its a shame most of the uniforms where modified after the war. However I totally support things like this it is great to see people restore these jackets. I was lucky enough to find an original. But if you are still looking for buttons I can help you out! I have 5 smaller ones and 4 bigger, I also have a pair of crossed rifle insignias if you need!
