apparently after the last attempts to kill A.D, medals were issued to the survivors have any of you lads seen these?????, i never knew they even existed,

These were in the form of distinct wound badges, created especially for the
failed attempt at the 'Wolf's Lair' by Claus von Stauffenberg, 20 July 1944.
There are estimated to be only about 100 official badges made in all three
grades for the 24 recipients, and therefore extremely rare.

Last one I remember hearing about sold for $20,000 or $30,000.
Plenty of repros around, and most badges encountered are.
