Avatars: what is yours?

Article about: Mine changes, right now it's from a near mint Q SS decal from a helmet I own and as SS helmets are my passion/specialty I thought it was appropriate for a few weeks anyway LOL.

I'm an old biker so my avatar is some old 60s biker art
that sort of ties in with my interest in ww1 German militaria.

Being an avid collector of WWII RCAf uniforms and equipment, I thought that this RCAF recruiting poster would be perfect for my avatar.

It's very nice to see everyone from all of the different sections posting on the same thread. You Polish militaria guys are like a forum of your own!

My avatar is a 2010 photo of my girlfriend of 6 years and me in Montreal, Canada. This one was taken from Mount Royal itself.

I have a new Avatar - it's my great grandfather in 1916, looking like he does home on leave after a year & a half of war. He was a stretcher bearer with the RAMC and while I have his "Pip,Squeak & Wilfred" medal trio & medal card, his service history is among the many that were destroyed in the Blitz - I know, I spent a long time looking!

    Cheers, Dan
