Great pictures thanks for sharing, I thought rather than starting another thread I'll post the pics I took here.
I loved the dust it gave the show a real Normandy 44 feel and also added to the realism for the re-enactors appearance.

Great photos guys, thanks for posting them for those of us who, for whatever reason, couldn't get there.

I really must make a point of going, maybe next year!

    Regards etc

Hi Simon, the Panther is real and belongs to Rex Cadman, the show organiser. I have been on it It came from France I believe. A present it is only externaly restored.

    Cheers, Ade.

It was a great day on Saturday especially the fly over with the Lanc, the pilot really threw the plane about and at low level, yes it was very dusty and i had to sing the next day in a show, but what the hell, tried to find Mr Brandon at L9 but the people there wernt from WRF, looked all down L row but no sign. The day was nearly spoilt for me when some bozo started waving a sword about, he was obviously three sheets to the wind, and just missed taking my head off but he calmed down after i told him what i was going to do with his sword, but i hd a great time, cant wait for Oddessy

Both the Panther and the Panzer IV stood on the Second Battle Group's display were repainted by the group to accurately represent a Panzer used by a veteran friend. I can't remember the story on the Panther but the Panzer IV is an accurate portral of the tank used by Manfred Thorn in the hellish fighting of Tilly-La-Campagne July 44 (Normandy).
Those who went to the show may have noticed his large signature on its left hand side.
