    I hardly think the U.S. Army Museum at West Point is "cash strapped" Dan, but I wish our Spanish friend all the best in his endeavours.......

    I doubt that this particular museum needs money.
    This Goring's Reichmarshal baton, if put under auction, will probably generate over 2M .

    Yes, a museum wont sell it's display piece, at least not this one for sure. I feel like museums shouldnt and thankfully dont sell their items 99% of the time, of course there are rare instances and et cetera. It would be quite a shame to walk in a museum, only to discover that all the nice and historical items have been sold to some millionaires private collection.
