Very interesting story.
I've always found the story of escaped Nazi war criminals to be fascinating.
On a side note--- I have a SS marked spoon liberated from the SS officers
school at Bad Tolz. My neighbor was there as as part of Patton's staff
when the school was being used as the 3rd Army HQ.
