I've actually had this M1916 lid for a while, my kid discovered it and I told him I picked it up for a good price and was going to re-sell it, to throw him off the track. I even let him display it once but I took it back from him at the end of the day. He thinks it has been sold.

I found one today, mix of original paint and rust, complete original liner for 350 euros.
Im trying to make him lower the price.

Good luck with your purchase and would love to see if/when you get...one of my favorite helmets. Hard to come by with a liner so I'd not give much thought to a little rust myself.

Just got an answer, 200 euros + a portuguese youth shirt.

You can't beat that price! I've seen no-liner rust buckets, like the one I got my son, go for near that.

Tom....I'm the lucky one, I've got a kid that has taken up a great hobby and includes me in on it. Picking up little things here and there for him is just my way of being a part of what he enjoys. I do have to admit, I've gotten lucky not once, but twice with my kids. I know many other parents are not so fortunate.

Tomorrow is he B-day and I'll get the joy of watching him open and enjoy his new treasures!
