So, I just got my box of stuff from the mail I mentioned before.

-Bundeswehr Flecktarn/desert helmet cover for the M826 (Displayed here on my MICH replica, fits really well)
-US PASGT vest, OD, most likely used by the navy. Unissued condition!
-British Pattern 58 webbing set with all the accessories. Havent got around the installment of the large pack and the two part pouch. All pouches and harness are named for "Paice"

    Not pictured are
    -Bundeswehr combat gloves, summer
    -Bundeswehr WW2 style sand/dust/sun goggles

I always like to see a good set of 58 Pat webbing together , i had to do a lecture on the subject on my Junior NCO's Cadre course !!

It really is an amazing webbing. The problem is, that it is so hard to understand

    Hi
Nice pieces of kit, and as said good old 58 Patt, webbing, very comfortable to wear, all you need now for it is the kidney pouches.

Thanks! I have some pouches and equipment for the webbing. Attached to it at the moment are :Magazine pouches 2x Canteen pouch and NBC carrying roll.

Are these the "kidney pouches"? If they are, I dont know how to attach them to the webbing. The large pack is a problem too.

Theres some photos on this webpage of the kidney pouches and how they are meant to be attacted to the belt, far easier than me trying to explain it Webbing is one of those things you cannot really describe how to assemble, its best to show someone how to do it

    PATTERN 58 WEBBING

Regarding the large pack, the shoulder straps go through the loops that are on the yoke (where your shoulders would be if you were wearing it) the strap then goes down and attaches to D rings where the strap that goes down to the belt starts...... I hope this makes some sense

    Thanks

Thanks Danny! I attached the clips in the bottom of the large pack to the ammo pouches, the same way as the NBC carrying roll did.
