    Definately hazardous, cleaning my cabinet the other week and one of my Mk II British helmets fell of the top shelf and brained me, had cross eyes for a while and splitting headache, should have worn one of the bloody things, will next time

    Correct Asbesto's is the main one, but filters especially the more modern American ones degrade quite rapidly. The best rule to follow is that if the history of a filter is unknown and/or its expired it shouldnt be used
