Chinese fantasy medals?!

Article about: Hmmm... I bought these medals on a flee market. They look really crapy but old. Are these made up for tourists? Only the one with Mao on it looks decent enough...

    You are correct. The pieces are replicas made for tourists, and can be found in abundance on ebay. eMedals.com has a few nice Chinese pieces that show the difference.
