Article about: Any luck? awesome find, id keep it all intact as mentioned you can always buy a single patch but things like these are harder to come across. As for collecting I believe US is collected way

    Seeing that you are aged 14 years, it's forgivable that you would even question it for $30 and even consider dismembering it. You may miss it because you stuttered. Good luck but don't tear it apart.

    Mention that it's stained, got a hole in it, and is missing the triangle patch at 5 O Clock....make him an offer of $25 bucks...lol

    It appears to be a bedspread made up by a G I after he returned home. My mother's cousin did something similar. It is an interesting historical relic as is. I would leave it intact.

    I would take it for that price. I have seen original photos of similar items. Somewhere around here I have a photo of a girl wearing a raincoat with WWII-era patches all over them.
