    Very sad when some one takes his own life. I think I actually met him once.

    The sad end result of when a country's perception of itself as a world power is not matched by the reality of its place in the world or by its war-fighting budget.

    Very saddened to read this. The increasing cut backs in many walks of life and the ever increasing demands that seem to go hand in hand with them are likely to see more of this happening, a very sad state in what is supposed to be a civillised country.
