Dieppe Allied's sacrifice Tribute
Hello chaps!
Shame on me !!
I was born in Dieppe and i have missed the really impressive tribute to this doom day..
Anyway,a friend of mine send me the link to his association's dedicated pages of this event.
Amongst all of the beautiful dummies;this US Ranger with the Garand. The dream of all diggers around Dieppe:to spot precise relics of these 50 men engaged that day(i believe..)A friend in Varengeville sur Mer has found a US bayo in the family gareden pit,there..How did it end here, since there were no US troops in Dieppe vicinity???
Enjoy !
