I wore my great uncles Heer buckle on a repro leather belt to keep my cam pants up in Iraq a few times on patrol....my uniform coat covered the area so it wasn't visible to all.....I was even able to attach my leg holster to the belt.....I also had Heer M43 that I wore off duty or out in the desert......that whole desert fox feel.....by coincidence we were also wearing the desert rat patch at the time!

I sometimes wear my SS kampfbinde when popping down the shops. Tends to get me to the front of the post office queue, the old dears give me a wide berth for some reason

I must admit i have very carefully placed a catholic preachersring from year 1280 on my finger before i delivered to the museum. Also i had my hammer of Thor around my neck for some minutes. I dont know if it count since i have given them away..

Besides that i have placed a steelhelmet on my head countless times, often when drunk.

I am to big to wear most military kit. I have a 40 inch waist and a 46 inch chest. Military gear is made for much thinner fellows.
