Dose any one else think there is a lot of trolling going on ?

Hi every one

Do you is a lot of trolling at the moment ? What can we do to avoid this ? Maby just ignoring any suspicious threads ? Then they will get bored ?

its unavoidable i would say, there is always someone who wishes to upset the harmony, they are lifes lower elements,lets not ponder and move on, or i fear by giving them band width they have acheived their aim. regards,george w

yah noticed it too, it was the same person who made another account after their first got banned. Probably IP banned by now, so it should be a problem no longer.

just make it that nobody can make anouther account on the same email.

that is too easy to over come historyisme, and IP ban is the 2nd best thing to do, the best being a hard drive ban which i think is hard to do!!

anyone one who is banned can use another laptop,{thus its a different IP,} and set up a new email instantly,so its imposible in my opinion ,alittle like security,if they want to get in, no alarm system or dog in the world will stop them, hope im proved wrong,george w

The people who troll are sad lonely individuals with a lack of social skills who, despite being old enough, still live at home with their mothers. Their mothers block their internet access to certain sites so they are unable to look at pornography which would usually brighten their sad little lives, thus, they spend their time making comments on forums in order to try and make themselves look intelligence and to get a response which, in the outside world, they would not normally get. I for one welcome them because by responding to their posts it makes them feel a little bit better about themselves for a while.
There is one fail safe way to stop trollers and that is to find out where they live and tell their mothers!

Ya may get all the fleas off the dog but sooner or later he'll pick some more.
From past forum encounters it's almost impossible to stop them from coming back.

If they start to act suspicious (stupid) give em a small chance for redemption. After that
hold their posts for 12 or 24 hours ... that usually will flush them out. Trolls get frustrated when
they can't stir the soup.
