Well not exactly a knife... But my leatherman wave would have to be my favourite that thing takes an absolute beating... I have had it for around 8 or so years and use it almost daily for all sorts of jobs.

    The ones I've made!
This is one of my Bastard blades(Made from Bastard files).
The handle is made from black walnut . I cut a slot in the walnut for the tang to show out the sides. I liked the teeth look. I used twisted pair SS wire to make the "H" with a knife . My last name initial and my makers mark!!!!. Then it was all covered with a clear epoxy.

I have a SOG force it's a tank with tiger stripe camo on the blade but if I had a custom knife I know it would be my favorite.

My buck 107 was a gift from my Grandpa, he died when I was 2 and left it specially for me.
I use it for everyday tasks, and gutting deer. It is the sharpest blade I have ever seen it can cut with ease through the pelvis bone of a deer and it holds a nice edge very well.

The Randall Model 1 is a design I've always liked. Not sure if it counts as a non-military knife as it has been widely carried as an unofficial weapon since WW2.
