Battleship was a good movie. You can't beat Brooklyn Decker and the Missouri firing her guns in one movie. haha
War Horse was indeed a joke...
Red Tails was pretty good but it was filled with all of the typical racial stereotypes that movies of the sort love to display.

Battleship was a fun movie, I got goosebumps when the Australian jets came in and finished off the bad guys after the shield came down. Quite a shock to see any country other than the US get a nod, especially in a Hollywood movie.
And Iron Sky was a hoot, I've watched it 4-5 times so far! Just the movie for a late night when the bourbon is flowing and the missus has gone off to bed.

You bet! The soundtrack from the movie 'Burnin' Bridges' by the Mike Cort Congregation is fantastic, it makes the theme from 'Platoon' look like a jolly little ditty!.......Probably.by visor

You are 100% correct, the war movies of late have been horrible. If i can make a suggestion, i liked the 9th company allot, good story, unknown story, and good action.
It is good to see the soviet view on the topic.

Hello, I recently watched a film entitled 'Max Manus: Man of War' (Max Manus: Man of War (2008) - IMDb) which is a true story based on Norwegian resistance against the German occupation, well worth a watch!
