I recently kind of got obsessed with the clip below since it is such remarkable footage, and I have been desperately trying to find out the story behind it, or at least find out where it was filmed etc.

Almost all the searches I've done on it say it is a British paratrooper at Arnhem, but I've heard so many stories, such as the German soldier being a partisan, and the "Brit" being a German paratrooper, that the whole thing is a training/propaganda film, and even that it is from "Theirs is their glory"(1946 movie).
In my opinion, it is a British paratrooper with a captured German belt and canteen using a Sten Mk V. As for the German, I have no idea, there are certain things about him that I can't explain. For example the fact that he has a pistol holster, but no ammo pouches for the K98 he is using lead me to believe he is not an "ordinary" German infantryman. I can also not identify what sort of shirt he is wearing, it appears to be a lot lighter color than the trousers. And then there is the really odd black blob on the back of his neck? What could that be?
At this point, I do not really care if I am wrong, or if it is actually from a training film, I just want to find out the source of the video.
