I have found that there are a number of areas where I can be of service and give sound advice..... mainly with metal Totenkopfs and eagles and SS buckles. I just helped out several people at the last Allentown show....However,my "father in law" has been collecting for 40+ years and he still gets fooled by badges... my point is, somethings are such a mine field that even seasoned collectors need a lot of help still... I know some people may seem lazy,it boils down to confidence in one's own knowledge.

I am always happy to help on any thread I notice and on which I think I have a useful opinion. Sometimes I go out of my way to help if I have the time and the knowledge, such as creating annotated pictures of particular salient points on items and sometimes these get appreciated more by other member's than by those for whom I have created them.

We all need help sometimes and I still ask for opinions on some items, either because I am uncertain or just don't know and on occasion I have asked for a valuation on items I have owned for a very long time, mainly so I don't ask for too much.

I always try to be polite and thank those who have helped me.

This is a good forum with in the main a polite, helpful and friendly membership and glad I am to be a member.
    Regards,

    Jerry

    Hey,

It's my first post here due i think i have some nice findings from one jacket's pockets i bought from second hand shop. As i am really far off from knowing what one or another item means and obviously i don't valuate them as much as real collectors do. So maybe i gettin a little enlightment, help, valuation here?

And if anyone is interested on these items, send me a message

These will need to be posted in there correct on the forum and also post items for sale in the classifieds not in a "announcement thread".
