    You guys are lucky to live so close. I find these stories fascinating.
    Ancient items seem to give off an energy of their own.

    Hi Great story about the finding of the helmet can you imagine finding one of those, i only collect ww1/2 items and weapons, the only roman stuff i have are coins in a bag somewhere here.
    But a helmets are something rare.

    I liked the helmet story also. It is amazing how well it has been perserved in the earth. I can imagine how impressive it would have appeared when worn.
