i think youl find it was BRITISH and german troops who sang carrols NOT the AMERICANS
it was 1914 the americans haddnt entered the war yet

I have watched the video and it got me thinking... the vet seems to be wearing U.S. Army-Air Corp insignia, a distinguished flying cross, and obviously he is wearing a hat with a Jabo on it. It doesn't seem like he was a front-line infantryman or anything... Does anyone else find it a little odd that he was exposed to sniper activity?
