I used a similar technique of "layer masks" to produce this cover illustration for a 2007 book project proposal about Polish partisans operating hidden in the forests of Poland during WWII — "echoes" of memories by the partisans rather than ghosts.

Great contributions, lt's all so fascinating to see. I love to visit Weymouth too, I'll have to keep these shots in mind as I next walk along the seafront!
