    She's a beauty alright Nick, reminds me of a Vickers Windsor heavy bomber a tad.

    Whats the name of this vessel and what was the somewhat famous flotilla in which she served.Also what theatre did this flotilla operate in?

    That's it Nick.Good one.
    HMAS Stuart and the four V and W class destroyers Vampire,Voyager,Vendetta and Waterhen ran supplies and replacements to Tobruk from Egyptian ports between mid 1940 to October 1941.Waterhen,Vampire and Voyager were sunk during these replenishment runs.They were named the "Scrap Iron Flotilla" by the German propagander machine due to the ships old age and general condition (all were built no later than 1919).
    Stuart and Vendetta were converted into Fast Troop Transport Vessels back home in Australia during late 1942 and finished the war in the SW Pacific theatre.
    Honourable little ships.
