It was an airport in Algiers used for operation Bone and off course it means White House, but as you say, it does sound like a character from Dynasty or a carry on film

I don't know the name in German, but it is an award from the protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, the Achievement award for Security troops, Gold, Silver or Bronze and it was instituted in July 1944 and was awarded to members of the Regierungstruppe.

It was called the Leistungabzeichen

As this is fairly well known, I want the type of tank, the regiment it belonged to, the commander of the tanks involved in the attack and also the place (not just the country/region) and date of the attack?
