    Colonel Jabara is of Lebanese descent and is a personal hero of mine. He is a good example of the 15,000 Arab-Americans who served in WWII.

    This is obviously a Sherman variant, but what was it called and what was it designed for, and how was it eventually used very successfully in a different role?
