Re: Guess the picture quiz! I cheated by means of an extensive Google search on this one. However I am pretty much an expert now on the Battle of Crete, so at least I have that.
It is a British MK.VI that was destroyed during the counterattack on Galatas, Crete, on May 25th, 1941. The commander was Lieutenant Roy Farran of the 7th Royal Tank Regiment.

Re: Guess the picture quiz! Sorry guy's the gyro in the V1 was contained in a spherical housing right on the tip of the nose cone.In the V2 it was just above the top fuel tank contained in a cylinder.
Have exploded view's of both in front of me.
