Larry, I am past the training wheels but, not sure if I am ready for the widdow maker yet.
Actually, I was not quite telling the thruth earlier about my present.
The first bike is one that I bought about 5 years ago to re-learn on for $500.00 but it needed a little work. It is a 1983 Honda Shadow VT500. I fixed all of the lights, put a wind shield on it, did a little painting, cleaning, etc.
Last week, I purchased the second bike.
A 2001 Shadow 750 ACE.
I guess sort of an early birthday present to my self.

Actually, I took my road test on the old one and I am glad that I did. When I went to do the test, it was pouring and there was 2 inches of water flowing down the side of the road. There have been severe weather warnings all day and we had hail shortly after I returned, even tornado warnings! I couldn't have done the test on a worse day.
The new one is safe and sound in the garage.

Unfortunately, not currently the right weather for fishing. Normally I take this week off and do just that. My friend has been at one lake or another since the May long weekend. I will have to call his wife to find out which one before I head out.
The loved ones were last weekend and this weekend.

We had had nearly 3 inches of rain today. Horrible weather
for outdoor activities so far this summer. I've only put about
200 miles on so far.
