You should come visit and eat some of that big turkey dinner Ben.
I know after a big turkey dinner most of us fall asleep on the couch watching football. Myself I just go to my war room and check out what is new with my forum friends.

Just got done with the Turkey dinner and now it's time to fall into the L-Tryptophan coma. For some unknown reason, the wife went out 6 days ago and came back with a 26.9 pound Butterball Turkey-she said she tried her best to ignore it and pick up the Turkey Breast I'd suggested, but it kept taunting her, she said, so home it came.... Considering that it's just the 2 of us having the dinner, I suspect there will be signs of this Turkey well into Spring....But, I have to admit, it did come out top notch. She can Definitely cook a Turkey (now now...no comments...) and has never lost one yet. So, along with the organic mashed potatos, sweet niblets corn, crescent rolls, stuffing, sweet potato(also organic) and some smooth Burundi Coffee, it all went smooth as silk. As they said in the Christmas Carol movie..."Another Fine dinner, Mrs Cratchit!". The miniature poodle did keep up her part and made a valiant effort at keeping the floor clean from any pieces that went off course and ended up on the floor. What's that? Is someone here? Strange...I thought I heard my name called just now.....If my ears aren't deceiving me, it Seems to be coming from the Couch by the TV in the front room...How could that be? I suppose I Should investigate this...it could be something Serious....At any rate-hope everyone has a Great Thanksgiving! (even you unfortunately foreign born lads!)

No family that we wish to have contact with so the misses and I go out for Thanksgiving every year. This year we went to Rancho Bernardo Inn. Food was great, service is always top notch. I saw a retired couple treating around 15 young looking troops who must be away from their families to dinner there as well. We ate well today, I normally avoid meat but made an exception today.
    Here's the menu we had.
