Interesting.
Information of 2 such edged curios was a dagger given to Hitler for his Birthday in 1933..another a damascus letter opener in 1936 Labor day. This information can be found in Thomas Johnsons Collecting the Edged weapons of the Third Reich Vol. II. Pgs 76-79
The 1933 Birthday gift dagger was shown in EF Horsters Advertisement. No other documentation is available for the 1938 Gift dagger to Hitler..which I have no doubts about its existence. Many gifts in various forms where Given to Hitler on his Birthdays. Photos of the dated knives to follow later today. Regards Larry

Oops, just did some research and each of the guys have 2 each :-)
The Fuhrerbau in Munich held many of these gifts in one of the basement storage rooms. If they still exist, they were likely taken by an American GI. I have seen a few pieces that came from that location over the years.
