Hello from Leicestershire

Friends,

Thought I'd drop by and introduce myself.

I'm Ian and I live in Leicestershire and feel privileged to be part of this forum in it's early days. It is shaping up well with some good people already on board.

My collecting interest is centred around German field gear, although I would like to add a Tunic and perhaps a MG34 (Girlfriend permitting!) at some point in the not to distant future!

The MG34's are a really nice peice of kit to have in your collection - just can't believe how much they are going for nowadays.

Thanks for the tip on the MG34, I'll try that angle, although she might get the idea that I will want to sell it at a later date!

I can't believe how much they go for these days, the main problem I have is that every time I start getting close to the amount some other nice bit of kit appears that I "must" have and I'm back to the start again.

Ian, just a thought. We have a show coming up at Ashby Magna in a couple of weeks - if you can get there you can come and have a good mooch round and look at the kit and equipment we have between us.
