    Default Helmet stands?

it has been a bit slow at work this week. so i thought i would have a go at making a stand for my helmets out of scrap that i come across on day to day jobs (saving $$). but i would like to ask if anyone thinks this looks ok? i will paint them if i go ahead with making more.
please tell me if you think they dont look any good, anyway of improving or ideas. thanks for looking. mark.

the main bar is n16 with two 90deg cranks, and the foot bar is n12 with a 90deg crank. that i weilded to n16bar and sitting on top is a m20 feral. but should be covered with somthing so it dose not damge the inside of the helmet.

I don't think a helmet is going to overstress it, good idea though!...

Ingenious. Great use of scrap metal. Maybe put some felt padding on the top where the helmet rests?

i was thinking about that. maybe foam or even half a tennis ball. you dont see under there so dont mater how it looks. as long as it dont damage the inside of the helmet.

Tennis ball will work great for steel, and a half footy for soft caps, I need a bunch of these but cut down to 2/3rd height to fit my shelves
