Article about: Greetings, I was wondering if anyone could i.d. the item in the related photos. Probably not US, but country unknown. Also no provenance clues either. It is about 16" wide by 16" t

Greetings, I was wondering if anyone could i.d. the item in the related photos. Probably not US, but country unknown. Also no provenance clues either. It is about 16" wide by 16" tall. It doesn't show up well, but there is a brass stud (about 2-3" tall) on top of each of the rigid shoulder straps.
