Does this mean he was wearing the same clothes for the 30 years?!?! Pretty fantastic devotion though, I love how they have him teaching survival techniques to children! pretty cool stuff!
Yeah, he pretty much used the same clothes for 30 years. In the copy of the book I have it shows how some of the items were adapted/ mended.
When Onoda turned over his weapons, he gave them his sword, some hand grenades and his rifle with 500 rounds of ammunition-all in good working order.
