HONOR A FALLEN HERO

CPT Krzysztof Wozniak was killed in action on January 23rd 2013 during a raid on an insurgent stronghold in Ghazni Province. He was an operator serving with the Polish Special Forces unit Grupa Reagowania Operacyjno-Manewrowego (GROM). CPT Wozniak is the first GROM soldier to die during combat operations since the unit was formed.

CPT Wozniak was a dedicated career soldier who served in the Polish Army for 16 years. A loving husband and father, CPT Wozniak leaves behind a wife and three young children. In order to help his family through this difficult time, the unit has set up a memorial fund in CPT Wozniak’s name. All donations are greatly appreciated by CPT Wozniak’s family and his unit.
