how to leave reputation points

Hello, can someone please enlighten me as to how to leave reputation points for other members? I have never been able to figure it out. Many thanks, Doug

Go down to the little 5 pointed star beneath their member info on their post. You'll see the star (it is semi-dark but there) in the lower left hand corner. Click on it and leave the rep points.

Actually a six pointed star, but otherwise correct. It is hard to see. It is on the same level as the quote box, but as William says, underneath the posters details, above and slightly to the right of the reply to thread button.
