    I brought a couple of Saddam's dinner plates back on my last deployment. They're marked with gold Baath Party eagles on the front and are made by Heinrich Winterling - Markleuthen in Bavaria, Germany.

    Supposedly Saddam was obsessed with Hitler and the Third Reich. Definitely not WW2 but thought it might be interesting for someone.

    There was so much awesome war booty in the beginning of the war... I met several guys from the UK who got away with bringing back some pretty amazing stuff like gold plated AK-47s, UZIs, magazines, gold, cash, etc... It was a free for all in the beginning of the invasion. There are rumors that there are still huge caches of Saddam's stuff out in the desert but who knows, I'd like to think so anyway.

    Very cool. All I came back with was a helmet, gas mask, and some MRE Tabasco bottles full of sand...
